Still, the word of God Romans 10:17 is a lamp to our feet and a light to our
path. Psalm 109:105 All scripture is given by inspiration of God II Timothy 3:16 and He reveals deep and secret things for indeed He knows what is in the darkness, And light dwells with Him. Daniel 2:22 In truth, God Himself has declared the end from the beginning, And from ancient times things that are not yet done. Isaiah 46:10

Before time began,Titus 1:2 the earth was without form, and void; and darkness was on the face of the deep. And the Spirit of God was hovering over the face of the waters. Genesis 1:2 So too was the Word [who is called Christ Matthew 1:16 ], and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. John 1:1 Furthermore, the everlasting God Isaiah 40:28 is love I John 4:16 and in that love He chose us in Him before the foundation of the world. Ephesians 1:4. He foreknew us and predestined us to be conformed to the image of His Son. Romans 8:29 Indeed, God so loved the world that He resolved to give His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have eternal life. John 3:16 Not that we loved God, but that He loved us of such magnitude that He would send His Son to be the propitiation for our sins. I John 4:10 Foreordained before the foundation of the world. I Peter 1:20

So it came to be from the beginning of the creation. Mark 10:6 God said..... Genesis 1:3 And in their appointed hour the worlds were framed by the word of God. Hebrews 11:3 The heavens were made, And all the host of them by the breath of His mouth. Psalm 33:6 For He spoke, and it was done; He commanded and it stood fast. Psalm 33:9 In truth, by Him [who is called Christ Matthew 1:16 ] all things were created that are in heaven and that are on earth, visible and invisible, whether thrones or dominions or principalities or powers. All things were created through Him and for Him. Colossians 1:16 For of Him and through Him and to Him are all things, to whom be glory forever. Amen. Romans 11:36.

As for humankind, God made them male and female. Mark 10:6 The Lord God formed man of the dust of the ground, and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life; and man became a living being. Genesis 2:7 Then, with a rib which the Lord God had taken from man He made into a woman Genesis 2:22 and in due course God blessed them, and said to them, "Be fruitful and multiply" Genesis 1:28 to the end that every tribe and tongue and people and nation Revelation 5:9 might "fill the earth". Genesis 1:28 From first to last, all have been made in the similitude of God. James 3:9

In the fullness of time, the Lord God planted a garden eastward of Eden and there he put the man whom He had formed. And out of the ground the Lord God made every tree grow that is pleasant to the sight and good for food. The tree of life was also in the midst of the garden, and the tree of knowledge of good and evil. Genesis 2:8-9 It was here that the serpent of old, called the Devil and Satan, Revelation 12:9 came to the man and the woman with [temptation] and they were drawn away by their own desires and enticed. Then, when desire has conceived, it gives birth to sin; and sin, when it is full-grown, brings forth death. James 1:14-15 Through one man sin entered the world, and death through sin, and thus death spread to all men, because all sinned- Romans 5:12 Yes, all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God. Romans 3:20 Our tutor to bring us to Christ that we might be justified by faith. Galatians 3:24 For surely, by the deeds of the law no flesh will be justified in His sight. Romans 3:20

As for the prophets, he who prophesies speaks edification and exhortation and comfort to men. I Corinthians 13:3 Of old, Holy Scriptures I Timothy 3:15 documented that the Lord God does nothing, Unless He reveals His secret to His servants the prophets. Amos 3:7 Forth-telling, Thus says the Lord God: "... and they shall know that I am the Lord ...". Ezekiel 25:15-17 By prophesy we know that Messiah is coming (who is called Christ). And the Child grew and became strong in spirit, filled with wisdom; and the grace of God was upon Him. In the appointed hour, miracles, wonders, and signs were fulfilled which God did through Him Acts 2:22 and the people were astonished at His teaching, for He taught them as one having authority. Matthew 7:28-29 These few lessons attest:

To the multitudes: Matthew 5:1
  • "Come to Me, all you who labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you and learn from Me, for I am gentle and lowly in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. For My yoke is easy and My burden is light." Matthew 11:28-30

To the twelve disciples: Matthew 20:17
  • "Behold we are going up to Jerusalem, and the Son of Man will be betrayed to the chief priests and to the scribes; and they will condemn Him to death, and deliver Him to the Gentiles to mock and to scourge and to crucify. And the third day He will rise again." Matthew 20:18-19
Now it came to pass when the time had come for Him to be received up, that He steadfastly set His face to go to Jerusalem. Luke 9:51 Lowly and riding on a donkey, A colt, the foal of a donkey, Zechariah 9:9 those who went before and those who followed cried out saying: "Hosanna! Blessed is He who comes in the name of the Lord!" Mark 11:9 Five days later, they shouted, saying, "Crucify Him, crucify Him!" Colossians 3:11 And indeed there are last who will be first, and there are first who will be last. Luke 13:30

Subsequently, we take the bread and the cup Matthew 26:26-27 in remembrance of Him Luke 22:19 and further recall:
  • "I go to prepare a place for you. And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again and receive you to Myself; that where I am, there you may be also." John 14:2-3
  • "But the Helper, the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in My name, He will teach you all things, and bring to your remembrance all the things that I said to you. Peace I leave with you. My peace I give to you." John 14:26-27

Indeed, having believed, we were sealed with the Holy Spirit of promise, who is the guarantee of our inheritance until the redemption of the purchased possession. Ephesians 13-14
